assessment update

FYI - for the mid - term reports:

it's a little different from other classes , so just making sure we're all clear on this,...

24.5 % of the mark for leadership is pure application...doing things / attitude / approach etc

that has not been applied yet b/c it takes time to plan and do things

that will be on the mid-term ...and blogs will be worth much more than they are at present....

so...the posted marks right now are accurate but can be very deceptive

627am weather update

hear some thunder off in the distance....obviously if there is thunder around, do not participate today....come to school instead

clean up day - weather update

looks dry until 10....chance of showers after that (and thunder this afternoon)

go for it.....do good work...if it gets really wet, go inside

back to school for the afternoon

don't forget to take a photo or two....handy for your final exam portfolio

another reminder...clean up is fast approaching

clean up is monday the 25th - weather permitting- there will be a blog posting by 6am on Monday if it is to be postponed (only really if there is heavy rain)

just a remider: 24.5% of your mark in leadership is pure application...doing things.....being present and positivey engaging....activities in class, activities in the school, groups / clubs in the school...groups/ clubs in the community ...this is one of those times
